The first step toward developing a solid and supportive strategy for your child.

If someone you love is suffering from a mental illness, a clinical risk assessment for young adults and adolescents will provide you with a comprehensive report that captures your child’s current mental health.

The purpose of a clinical risk assessment is threefold: to establish a record of the current state of mental health, to address how likely an individual is to hurt themselves or others, and to recommend treatment strategies. We address psychological and social factors (relationship problems, etc.) during the clinical risk assessment.

Clinical risk assessments administered by Octagon Mentoring Services can help anyone struggling with mental health, regardless of age or gender, in the following ways:

  • Identify potential challenges to improvement
  • Determine risk of harm to self and/or others
  • Tailor strategies to improve mental health
  • Consult and mentor families struggling with mental health
